An electrical engineer will act as the engineer of record on construction documents for such industries as retail, office, multifamily, hospitality and industrial developments.  They will be expected to have strong relationships with city plan reviewers and utility company designers to expedite and resolve design and construction issues.  An electrical engineer will serve as a mentor to less experienced engineers and designers to foster an environment of learning, quality, and project achievement.


  • Work with a team of engineers and designers to work from architectural plans and base files to produce quality engineering construction documents in Revit
  • Design, oversee and review electrical engineering plans for construction
  • Perform, oversee and teach calculations such as photometrics, load calculations and energy analysis utilizing COMcheck and other calculation tools
  • Perform site research to understand existing site or building conditions 
  • Attend design meetings with Project Managers and act as an expert resource for clients during design and construction
  • Inform Team Leaders and Project Managers of progress on assigned projects and communicate design concerns with project managers and clients
  • Be and industry expert; attend industry events and become involved in the community, creating relationships and content to show expertise


  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of building electrical engineering, specifically in the project types listed above
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visa.
