Responsibilities

  • Process project invoicing (including preparing draft invoices, finalizing and revisions when necessary, and distribution to clients with applicable supporting documentation)
  • Open projects in the company's ERP system (verify completeness and compliance with WGI standards and consistency with contract(s) and other project documentation
  • Review project data validation reports and make updates to the ERP system when needed
  • Partner with Project Managers on project accounting questions and issues (including project variances, budget questions, time/expense transfers, unbilled revenue, comments on prebilled and/or aged unbilled)
  • Maintain business compliance and assist with optimization of processes by collaborating with team members to integrate technology and other resources 
  • Assist with month-end closing and revenue recognition 
  • Assist clients with inquiries (invoicing questions, Certificate of Insurance requests, and other billing related documents)
  • Prepare sub-consultant agreements using WGI templates and standards
  • Review sub-consultant invoices for compliance and completeness prior to PM approval
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of billing experience preferred in engineering, construction, or professional services industry
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to organize and multi-task
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and keep strong relationships
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve high quality work products
  • Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of Deltek Vision a plus
  • Working knowledge of CITS (and other client processing sites) a plus
