WGI is looking for a Summer 2026 Intern to work with our Transportation Admin team in Tampa, Florida.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with organizing resumes and updating AEC360
  • Gather relevant information needed, including project descriptions for new project sheets, and update AEC360
  • Assist with gathering and organizing boilerplate content from RFQ/RFP responses
  • Follow up on the results of opportunities and update AEC360
  • Assist with the proposal closing process and update opportunity records in AEC360
  • Assist with maintaining an organized document filing following the proposal archival protocol
  • Assist with gathering subconsultants' information and file
  • Must be punctual, dependable, and follow company policy and guidelines

  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to follow instructions, resourcefulness, and a positive “can-do” attitude
  • Self-starter and motivated to learn new skills
  • Detail-oriented and quality-minded
  • Basic skills in Adobe software (InDesign and Acrobat) and Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa

Physical Demands

The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  Work is performed in an office setting.  Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate a computer, keyboard and mouse.  Use of a telephone headset will allow for virtual communication with team members through Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to sit for prolonged periods, use hands/fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms, speak and hear.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
